North Korea feels threatened because they think their Citizens may try to switch to a democracy, so they hate us. They haven't tried to mess with us since them because they know it would end in disaster because we are so much more advanced and could take them out in 22 seconds. Now their old leader, Kim Jung il died leaving his 30 year old son, Kim Jung Un in charge. Letting a 30 year old child be in charge of a country is never a good idea.
